3/5  SFO/BIEJING

Board Air China or United Airlines’ wide-body 747 jetliner for Beijing. Cross the International Date Line and lose a day. 

3/6   ARRIVE BEIJING

Upon your arrival, meet the guide at the airport and transfer to the 5* New Century Hotel or similar. 

3/7   BEIJING (AB, L, D)

After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, the residence of emperors for more than 500 years. The Summer Palace, a summer resort for Empress Dowage Ci Xi.  

3/8    BEIJING (AB, L, D)

Full day excursion to the spectacular Great Wall and the famous Ming Tombs.  Return to the city in time for the Beijing Duck Banquet.

 3/9   BEIJING/XI’AN (AB, L, D)

Take flight to Xi’an, transfer and check in to 4* Royal Xian Garden Hotel or similar. Visit the ancient City Wall after the lunch. Visit burial site of incredible army of 8,000 lifelike  terra cotta soldiers.  Top off the day with Dumpling Dinner followed by Tang Dynasty Culture Show!  

3/10   XI’AN/Guilin (AB, L, D)

A full day tour recalls the glories of ancient Xi’an,  Then, visit the majestic Wild Goose Pagoda. Take flight to Guilin and visit the famous Reed Flute Caves. Check into the 4* Guihu Park Hotel or similar. 

3/11  GUILIN (AB,L,D)
Spend the day aboard a scenic Li River cruise, pass through picturesque farms and the fishing villages with its thousands of limestone outcroppings. Guilin has been the inspiration for generations of silk scroll painters.

3/12 GUILIN/CHONGQING (AB,L,D)
City tour features the Reed Flute Caves and Elephant Trunk Hill.

3/13 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B, L, D)

Cruise down the river. A shore excursion to the ancient city of Fengdu or Wanxian which is an residential area for immigrants. Visit the local market and kindergarten. Enjoy a welcome cocktail party hosted by the captain.

 3/14 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B,L,D) .   Today we pass through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge (two of the Three Gorges). Then, a shore excursion to the Shennong Stream or the Three Lesser Gorges. In the afternoon, pass through the new three gorges ship-locks.

 3/15 YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE (B,L, D)
Today, a shore excursion to the famous new five-stage Three Gorges Dam Site.    Then, the boat passes through Xiling Gorge (the last one of  the Three Gorges). Enjoy a farewell banquet in the evening.

 3/16 WUHAN (B,L, D)
Our cruise concludes as we arrived Wuhan at noon. Visit the historical Museum in the afternoon. Check into 4* Riverside Holiday Inn Hotel or similar.

3/17 WUHAN/SHANGHAI (AB,L,D)
After breakfast, visit the Yellow Crane Pavilion. Then, take flight to Shanghai. Check into 4* Rainbow Hotel or similar.   

 3/18  SHANGHAI  (AB, L, D)
Today's sightseeing introduces the major attractions of the city, including Panda Zoo, Yuyuan Garden, the Museum of Art and History. Enjoy Acrobatic Show at night.
 

3/19  SHA/SUZHOU/SHA (AB, L, D)

After breakfast, take morning coach to Suzhou. Tour includes Master’s of the Nets Garden, Silk Factory or Embroidery Institute or cruise on the Grand Canal, Afternoon coach back to Shanghai.

3/20 SHANGHAI (AB)

Enjoy your leisure day in Shanghai.

 

3/21 SHANGHAI / SFO (AB, L, D)

After breakfast, transfer to airport
and take Air China or United Airlines’
 wide cabin 747 jetliner back home.
