The Oakland
International Maritime Center (IMC) is one of
approximately 300 Seafarers Clubs worldwide. We support
the merchant mariner during his/her (usually) short stay
in the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Area.
We are a
non-profit group. Our support comes from The Port of
Oakland, The International Transportation Federation (ITF),
donations from Maritime Industry Companies, and
private donations from our many friends throughout the
San Francisco - Oakland Bay Area.We offer the following
services to the maritime community at our facility on
7th Street:

Seafarers
- International Telephone
Service
and Low Cost Phone Cards
- Mail Service, Postcards, and
Stamps
- Counseling: casual or by
appointment
- Free conversation and a pretty
good view of San Francisco and the Bay Bridge
- Snacks, beer, wine, sodas, and
toiletries
- Free books and magazines for
the ship
- TV and a pool table
- Basketball

IMC is open weekdays 10:00AM - 7:00PM,
Monday, Wednesday and Friday and
10:00AM - 9:00PM Tuesday and Thursday
